Wood Wood - Autumn/Winter 2014 'Heroes' Collection

Swedish brand Wood Wood was established in 2002 by co-founders Karl-Oskar Olsen and Brian SS Jensen. The pair grew up with the graffiti and street culture of the late 80's - 90's which serves as inspiration for the brands signature style which manages to seamlessly blend style and functionality.

The latest collection, the Autumn/Winter 2014 'Heroes' collection, from Wood Wood sticks to this motif and is inspired by the 1961 British/American war film 'Guns of Navarone' along with the movies from that era, the war movies of the 50s and 60s. The uniforms and make do and mend ethos of the era inspire the collection which sees classic silhouettes and styles mixed with modern materials. The colours are muted in keeping with the military theme and the collection features lots of taping, sealed seams and performance inspired detailing.

The collection will be dropping in store this week and will follow online shortly after.
