Herschel - Heritage Backpack

Renowned Vancouver bag specialist Herschel's Heritage Backpack has been a firm favourite with all of us here at Fat Buddha Store for some time and comes in at a great price too. The brand began when in the early 1900's, Peter Alexander Cormack, a barrel maker by trade, and his wife Annie made the journey from Wick, Scotland, crossing the Atlantic to Canada at a time when the government was enticing families to immigrate through the homestead program. After seemingly endless days of travel, the couple settled in the small town of Herschel, whose population today is counted at 30 residents. Founded in 2009 by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack, Herschel Supply Co. adopted the name of the small town where three generations of their family grew up. Herschel Supply Co. is based in Vancouver, Canada and continue to manufacture some of the finest quality backpacks, bags, travel goods and accessories around.

The brands Heritage Backpack is Built with the custom red lining Herschel is known for. The bag uses wide padded shoulder straps for comfort and features a woven logo patch on the front pocket displaying Herschel branding. Well designed and tough these bags have a zip closure with a slimmer silhouette than previous models, this bag has an mp3 player pocket, headphone opening, and and internal sleeve pocket. Made using a faux leather lining at the bottom and detailed accents, Herschel's Heritage pack draws inspiration from the classic pack over the years. You can check out more colours and pics below.
