Nike Air 180 "Safari Sole" Pack

Dropping instore from the Nike Air 180 "Safari Sole" Pack is the black colourway pictured above.

Nike regularly bring back reworked versions from their back catalogue but this is one we were really looking forward to. While the materials mimic a 1987 runner and feature ostrich panelling on the heel panels and the iconic safari print on the midsole the colourway gets an update with hues of bright teal complimenting the black base and a contrasting reddish pink tick.

It's been a while since the last Air Max 180 came back so these are not to be missed. They are available in store and will be online shortly.

Commonwealth - Eating Out

With the commonwealth officially kicking off today we have selected some of our favourite Glasgow eateries for you to enjoy over the next two weeks. While there are loads of great and different places to eat in Glasgow we have made a small section of some of the ones we hope to enjoy over the Commonwealth.

Bread Meats Bread:

With more and more great burger places opening up just now it's hard to choose a favourite but in walking distance of us is the great Bread Meats Bread. Along with your classic burgers you can also get current favourites like pulled pork and gourmet hotdogs along with brilliant sweet fries, all at pretty affordable prices. The place is always packed so you should make use of the lunchtime takeaway menu which consists of all meals with fries for £6 or £7, 12-3pm, Mon-Thu.

Address: 104 St Vincent Street, Glasgow G2 5UB
Main menu pictures below:

The Fish Plaice:

Another place we are looking forward to eating is the pop-up bar and kitchen from renowned Glasgow fishmongers The Fish Plaice. Open from the 18th July - 3rd of August in the courtyard of the Salt Market the menu looks ideal for anyone who loves fish. Just take a look at the food above to see what we're looking forward too.

Address: 1 St Andrews Street, Glasgow G1 5PB
Main menu pictures below:

Topolabamba:

Just opened and also in walking distance of us is new kid on the block, Mexican restaurant Topolabamba. Glasgow can't seem to get enough of burgers and Mexican food right now and Topolobamba has a great menu offering streetfood and sharing platters more close to traditional Mexican food than you will find anywhere else.

Address: 89 St Vincent Street, Glasgow G2 5TF
See menu here.

Distill:

Formerly The Ivy, Distill is a bar and restaurant which in addition to running great nights and serving quality cocktails also offers great food. The menu is relatively simple but the food is top quality and rivals some of the far more expensive restaurants in the West End with a much better atmosphere. They also offer a great lunch menu which is 2 for £10.

Address: 1102 - 1106 Argylle Street, Finnieston, Glasgow G3 7RX
See menu here.

Best White Summer Sneakers

With summer upon us it's time to let your weather worries go and get out your white trainers as they never look better than in the sun. Getting in the spirit we have made a list of some of our favourite white shoes for the summer months.

A classic white shoe in the form of the Adidas Originals Beckenbauer in a White/Royal colourway. Originally launched in 1982 it was designed as a training shoe for Franz Beckenbauer and in recognition of this features a gold portrait of him on the tongue along with suede and leather uppers and the classic three stripe branding.

We can't do a list about white trainers without mentioning the essential Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. With its block white colourway, classic converse silhouette and lightweight canvas material making it a summer staple.

From the Puma 'Cream' pack comes the Blaze of Glory in a solid white colourway. The all-white mesh uppers are complemented with stone coloured panelling and contrasted with fuchsia pink accents. The shoe also features Puma's trinomic technology in the sole and premium leather panelling.

A  perfect shape for anyone who likes a crisp white tennis shoe, the Superga Cotu Classic comes in lightweight canvas material, has a vulcanised sole and is machine washable ensuring that it will stay white all summer.

This Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski in its all white block colourway looks sharp as hell and features suede uppers, vulcunised outsole and tonal leather piping. Anyone who is a fan of the Janoski shape should love this sharp mono colourway.
